OAKFIELD — Donna Mary Furrow, 77, passed away Thursday January 5, surrounded by her loving family. Throughout her life Donna was involved in her community as a ceramics and porcelain doll instructor, spent countless hours helping special needs children, and presented her handmade arts and crafts at fairs. Her main interests were spending time with her family and her artistic hobbies such as quilting, painting, sculpting dolls, and gardening. She loved to be at the family camp on Pleasant Pond, near the ocean collecting seashells, and Marden’s shopping for good deals.

Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her five children, Michael and Suzette Furrow of Bangor, Robert and Wendy Furrow of Merrill, Linda Duff of Island Falls, Kristie and Sam Riley of Westport, Mass, and Matthew and Jill Furrow of Merrill; her grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Furrow, Natasha Barton and Lucas Duff, Trudy and Lilly Furrow; Matthew “Leo” Furrow, and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Furrow and Ryan Barton. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert Furrow; her parents, Leo and Laurena Bishop; and her brother, Harley Bishop.

She will be greatly missed by many. Services will be held at St. Agnes Church in Island Falls Thurs., January 12th at 10 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at the Island Falls VFW.
