The Presque Isle bantam hockey team went 5-0 and outscored opponents by a 32-9 margin in the process at the Hilton Port City Tournament held Jan. 13-15, 2017 in St. John, New Brunswick.
PI beat a team from host St. John in the championship game to grab the banner in the ‘B’ division.
“The game was a great team effort from start to finish,” said Doug Carlisle, coach of the winning squad. “We won the puck battle to gain control of the puck and the game.”
The team now owns a 16-2-2 record on the season.
