The Brookside Restaurant was the meeting place for the Purple Hat Ladies’ first meeting of 2017.
“Thinking of you” and thank-you cards were signed by the members. A thank-you card was read from The Ark Sanctuary. We forgot to recognize those with January birthdays, so if we missed you, here it is: Happy birthday.
The monthly drawing was won by Sandy Wyman and Betty Wyman.
Wannetta Townsend asked the blessing on the meal. Everyone is asked to bring a Valentine to our next meeting. Some members stated they are not keeping their New Year’s resolutions.
