CARIBOU – Jacquelyn (Jackie) Krug, 91, of Caribou, died unexpectedly on December 29, 2016 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She was born on August 5, 1925 in Limestone, to Harold and Sarah Leighton.

Jackie was employed briefly as a teacher then worked as the head teller at Coastal Bank in Kennebunk for many years. She and her late husband of 70 years, William, moved to Caribou in 1986.
She is survived by her son, David Krug and his wife, Karen of Winthrop; granddaughters, Amy Richard of Hebron, and Lori Ventimiglia of New Gloucester, and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, William Leighton of PA, and Gerald Leighton of South Carolina.
Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. There will be a private graveside service in the Spring for the family.
