HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Police Department responded to the following incidents from Sunday, Feb. 12-Saturday, Feb. 18.

Sunday, Feb. 12

12:15 a.m. — Off. Smith responded to Rogers Street to investigate suspicious activity.

8:31 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Military Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

11:07 – Off. Quint responded to Bangor Street to arrest a 21-year-old Houlton male, Glen Kemp, for assault on an officer, domestic violence assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

2:04 p.m. — Off. Quint responded to Water Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

4:10 p.m. — Off. Cyr responded to Holland Street to investigate a theft/forgery/fraud.

8:09 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to High Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

Monday, Feb. 13

12:55 a.m. — Off. Smith responded to Military Street to investigate suspicious activity.

6:00 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to North Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

10:29 a.m. — Off. York responded to Military Street for an animal complaint.

12:53 p.m. — Off. York responded to Holland Street to investigate a theft/forgery/fraud.

10:22 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Sugarloaf Street to arrest a 35-year-old Houlton male, Christopher Condon, on a warrant.

7:48 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to Randall Avenue to arrest a 52-year-old Houlton female, Patricia Murphy, on a warrant.

5:52 a.m. — Off. Smith responded to Market Square to investigate suspicious activity.

2:04 p.m. — Off. York responded to First Street to assist another agency.

6:21 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Court Street for a welfare check.

7:48 p.m. — Off. Boutilier responded to Pearce Avenue for an animal complaint.

9:10 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Smyrna Street for an animal complaint.

10:32 p.m. — Off. Boutilier responded to Franklin Avenue to summons a 22-year-old Houlton male for operating while license suspended.

Saturday, Feb. 18

9:35 a.m. — Off. York responded to North Street to summons a 46-year-old Littleton male for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

9:52 a.m. — Off. York responded to High Street to investigate suspicious activity.

11:39 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Ludlow Road to summons a 30-year-old Houlton female for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

6:14 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Columbia Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

9:14 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Kelleran Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

HPD Corner

It’s tournament time, and for those who are heading down to Bangor to enjoy basketball, basketball, and more basketball, please remember the security of your home. Do all those things that need to be done before you leave, but mostly lock your doors.

Once you get to Bangor, remember to lock your vehicle, keeping out of view those items that may catch a roaming eye.

And, of course, cheer for all the local teams, as they have really worked hard this season to get to Bangor.
