HOULTON, Maine — In an effort to continue building interest in the sport of lacrosse to the greater Houlton area, on Thursday, March 9, at the Houlton High School gym, Adult and Community Education along with the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians are sponsoring a youth lacrosse information session and “Give it a Try Night.”
The event is open to those in grades 3-6 and will be split by gender. The girls’ session is at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys’ event at 6:30 p.m.
A boys and a girls sixth-grade and under team compete in the Maine Lacrosse Program this spring.
