The churches of the Southern Aroostook Ministerial Association (SAMA) are again offering Wednesday noon Lenten lunches, beginning today, March 8, 2017, at St. Mary’s Church in the Parish Center.
A variety of soups and breads will be served, followed by a brief devotional service. While means are free, donations will be accepted to support heating fuel programs through the Salvation Army.
Future luncheons include:
March 15: Church of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal).
March 22: Houlton United Methodist Church.
March 29: Church on the Hill/Military Street Baptist Church.
April 5: First Baptist Church.
All lunches begin at noon and will last under an hour. The public is welcome to attend. For more information call Deacon Al Burleigh at 532-2871.
