CARIBOU, Maine — The North Star District Katahdin Area Council Boy Scouts of America will host their annual Scout Skills Show on Saturday, March 18, at the Caribou Recreation Center on Bennett Drive.

Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and their leaders will gather from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to share and demonstrate Scout skills and more.

At 12:30 p.m. the North Star district will host the third annual Business Pinewood Derby. Businesses from around The County are invited to race an “anything goes” car built by their company.

Following the business race, the district top four racers, including two Lion Scouts from each local pack, will race their cars to determine the fastest cars in the North Star District.

At 1 p.m., all Scouts who are members of the Order of the Arrow will meet to set the year’s agenda and learn more about the North Star Chapter events. All scouts and scouters who have been elected to the OA are invited to attend.

The public is cordially invited to come visit the show.
