HODGDON, Maine — SAD 70, which includes Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Hodgdon, Linneus, Ludlow, New Limerick and Orient, will conduct registration for students entering kindergarten and the pre-K program on Thursday and Friday, March 23 and 24, at the Mill Pond Elementary School office.
To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2017. To be eligible for pre-K, a child must be four years old by Oct. 15.
Parents will need to bring the child’s vaccination records, his/her birth certificate and Social Security number (optional). Registrations will not be accepted by the office without the vaccination record and birth certificate. No exceptions will be made.
SAD 70 offers a full-day kindergarten program. Pre-K classes meet for half-days Monday through Thursday. Parents with eligible children who have not received a pre-registration letter should contact Loreen Wiley, principal, at 532–9228.
Children currently enrolled in the SAD 70 Pre-K program do not need to pre-register for kindergarten.
