PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Northern Maine Counseling Association, a group of high school guidance counselors and admissions representatives from Aroostook County, will host a career fair on Wednesday, March 29, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at various locations on campus.
More than 600 sophomores from Aroostook County high schools will attend sessions hosted by local professionals to find out about careers of interest. dProfessionals from law enforcement officers to bankers to health care professionals will be there.
Several UMPI community members will also present, including Shirley Rush, Vanessa Patenaude, Paul Johnston, Chris Rolon and Barb Blackstone.
This event is free and open to sophomores from Aroostook County high schools. FMI, contact the UMPI Admissions office at 768-9532.
