PRESQUE ISLE — Elizabeth “Betty” Henderson, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 2, 2017 at a Hospice House in Lecanto, FL. She was born on March 26, 1932 in Westfield, the daughter of Delmar and Mable Fields.

Betty worked at Graves Shop and Save for many years as a cashier and accountant until her retirement. She was active in the Ladies Fireman Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and ceramics. Her home was always open with welcoming arms for her family and friends and many happy memories with lots of Barbeques. She will remain in her family and friends hearts forever.
She is survived by two daughters; Lona Henderson of California and Laurie (Henderson) Screnock of Florida, three brothers; Roland Fields of Connecticut, James Fields of California and Russell Fields of Arizona, four grandsons; Robert Langley and significant other, Ranae Dubaj of Florida, Roger Langley, Jr. and significant other, Niki Coutts of Florida, Kenny Stevens and his wife Olga of California and Troy Shaw and his wife Emily of California, four great grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Aubrey Henderson, her special friends; Hollis Porter and Carole Cullins, sister, Opal Joyce Crahan, three brothers; Orville Fields, Bernard Fields and Gary Fields, three son in laws; Ken Stevens, Shane Shaw and Victor Screnock.
