GILBERT JOSEPH KING SR. FORT FAIRFIELD and LIMESTONE – Gilbert Joseph King Sr., 77, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born January 12, 1940, in Caswell, the son of George and Pearl (LaBreck) King.
He worked many years as a drywall man and painter. Gilbert really enjoyed singing at Karaoke.
He is survived by a son, Gilbert Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Limestone; a daughter, April Ann Muckler and her husband, Philip, of Lincoln, N.B.; three brothers, James of Fort Fairfield, George Jr. of Van Buren and Douglas of Perham; two sisters, Patsy Planthaber of PA, and Alfreda King of Boston, MA; three grandchildren, Philip Muckler Jr. of Perth, NB, Joshua Muckler of Edmundston, NB, and Russell King of Limestone; and three great-grandchildren, Colton, Miyah and Paige. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Theriault) King in Feb. 2008; and two brothers, Roger and Russell King.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. Spring interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery, Limestone. Online condolences may be shared at www.lancastemorgan.com.
