Sorority plans book swap

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Maine Epsilon Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on March 16, 2017, at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center with Lucy Adams as hostess.  

The business meeting was conducted by president Sue Lougee.  

Thank you notes were read from the Central Aroostook Humane Society and the Hope and Justice Project. Members collected monetary donations for the GIFT food pantry.  

The service committee will make and deliver Easter baskets for children at the Sister Mary O’Donnell Homeless Shelter. The group also decided to contribute to the Summer Gap Feeding Program sponsored by the United Way.  

Book discussions and a book swap are on the agenda for the next meeting, which will be held Saturday, April 22, at 9:30 a.m. at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center.
