PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Brentant M. Lahey, 25, passed away unexpectedly Friday March 17, 2017, in Presque Isle. He was born August 25, 1991, in Presque Isle, the son of David W. Lahey and Ronnee Ann Belmain. He attended Mars Hill schools and enjoyed the outdoors, especially swimming, dirt biking and snowboarding. He was also very fond of animals and children, and processed a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his mother, Ronnee Ann Belmain of Fort Fairfield; his father, David W. Lahey of Limestone; one sister, Sarah J. Belmain of Fort Fairfield; maternal grandparents, Ronald Belmain and his wife Linda of Flaggler Beach, Florida; Bonnie Adams of Presque Isle and Robert Belyea of Caribou; paternal grandparents, Patrick Lahey Jr. of Limestone, Phyllis Walker Carter of Pueblo, CO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, including a special cousin Napoleon Hebert III of Presque Isle; a special aunt Sharon Fox of Presque Isle; and many friends including special lifelong friends, Alex Langille of Mapleton and Ryan Brewer of Mars Hill.
Friends called Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church, 33 Currier Road, Fort Fairfield, where services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Doughty officiating. Those who wish may contribute in Mr. Lahey’s memory to the Fort Fairfield United Pentecostal Church, 33 Currier Road, Fort Fairfield, Maine 04742.
