CLAUDIA M. YOUNG ISLAND FALLS – Claudia M. Young, 59, of Island Falls, ME, passed away March 18, 2017, at Houlton Regional Hospital after a long and Courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Claudia was born March 9, 1958, in Island Falls, to Truman P. Young and Doris A. (McGraw) Young.
Claudia was a loving, caring, and incredibly strong woman who never let her disease get her down. Her infectious smile, laugh, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by so many people.
Claudia is survived by her loving companion of 38 years, Ronald Chambers, Jr.; daughter Rhonda B. Chambers; sister Linda Brewer and husband David Brewer; two nephews Stephen and Scot Walker; along with many other family members, friends, and her loving four- legged friend, Teddy.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother Charles William (Billy) Young; along with other aunts and uncles.
We would like to thank the entire staff at Houlton regional Hospital and all helpers that have provided amazing care over the years.
A graveside service will be held in the spring.
