OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — Doreen Lynn Wardwell Warner, 58 years old, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away at home on February 24, 2017, of natural causes. She was born on March 2, 1958, in Caribou, the daughter of Erben and Rita Wardwell.
Doreen was a Caribou High School graduate. She obtained an associate degree in small business management at NMVTI and later obtained a dual degree in Culinary Arts and Hotel/Motel management at Southern Maine Tech School. In recent years, she was working as a personal care attendant for the elderly through Comfort Keepers. This job meant the world to her and she dearly loved her clients.
Doreen is survived by her son, Andrew Warner of Biddeford; granddaughter, Katerina Warner of Biddeford; brothers, Duane and wife, Misty Wardwell, and Douglas Wardwell; and her former husband, Dale Warner, of Caribou. She was predeceased by her parents; and her dearly beloved sister, Dianne Audet. She will be sadly missed by her niece, Marilee Bruner Fakory, with whom she was very close; and her Warner in-laws, whom she loved spending time with.
