KENNETH FLEWELLING LEVANT – Kenneth Flewelling, 55, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2017, at his home. He was born in Houlton on October 23, 1961, to Merle and Sharon.
Kenny grew up in Monticello and attended Houlton High School, graduating in 1981. He was a volunteer with the Oakfield Fire Department. Kenny was the manager of the Maine Glove Factory in Monticello for several years. He became an auto technician and was employed with Butler Motors and Quirk Subaru for several years. At the time of his death, he was employed by O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Tracey (Stewart) Flewelling, of Levant; two sons, Darin and Jacob; a daughter, Jenna; his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Laurence Kinney; three brothers, Brian, Harold and his wife, Aimee, and Galen and his wife, Morgan; two sisters, Ruthann and her husband, Marshall Burpee, and Leslie Flewelling and Jayson Henderson; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Merle, and many aunts and uncles, including a very special aunt, Pearl Flewelling.
There will be a private service for the family, and a spring burial will take place at Jewell Cemetery in Monticello.
