WASHBURN, Maine — A home on the Washburn Road is a complete loss after a devastating fire that occurred late Friday evening.
Washburn Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 call about a house fire Friday night. The property, reportedly owned by David Guerrette of Washburn, was being rented out at the time.
There’s no report of injuries or loss of life or the cause of the fire available at this time.
Washburn Fire, assisted by the Presque Isle and Mapleton departments attempted to save the structure but eventually determined it was unsafe for an interior attack and ultimately decided to let it burn.
