ELIZABETH J. ‘BETTY’ FROST FORT FAIRFIELD – Elizabeth J. ‘Betty’ Frost, 91, wife of the late C. Webster Frost, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2017, at a Presque Isle nursing facility, following an extended illness.
She was born February 22, 1926, in Caribou, the daughter of Otto L. and Belle (West) Currier. She was a graduated of the Caribou High School, Class of 1943 and was married to C. Webster Frost on February 22, 1948.
She was a communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield and had been employed by the Fort Fairfield Review for several years. Betty was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Santa Maria Circle Number 427, Fort Fairfield, and a member of the Bridge Club, Fort Fairfield.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Philip Currier; and one sister, Ethel May Williams. She is survived by six daughters, Deborah Ferrell and her husband Larry of Newport, Katherine Case of Bangor, Jean Keefner, Jane Leach both of Pittsfield, MA, Rebecca Frost and her partner David McLaughlin of Fort Fairfield, Terry Mourey and her fiancé Andy Walton of Lewiston; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
