WEST HARTFORD, CT — Ernest Henry Albert, 79, of West Hartford, beloved husband of the late Patricia (Thibodeau) Albert, passed away on February 8, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital only a short three weeks after his wife. He was born on October 22, 1937 in Caribou, ME one of eighteen children; son of the late Eugene and Eva (Cowette) Albert.
Ernest was a self-employed machinist for many years. He and his wife lived in West Hartford for over 35 years. He is survived by three sons, Ernest Henry Albert II and his fiancee Nelda Hilburn of Wolcott, Barry Albert and his wife Susan of Windsor Locks, and John L. Albert of West Hartford; 4 grandchildren, Alaina, Ian, and Megan Albert and Maegan Marroquin; two great-grandchildren,, Austin Taylor and Ivy Elizabeth Marroquin. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Windsor Locks Funeral Home. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
