PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Businesses with five or fewer employees and gross sales of $250,000 or less may apply by May 5 to augment their marketing budgets with up to $400!
New Ventures Maine (NVME) awards cash mini-grants of up to $400 to Aroostook County microenterprises through a competitive application process. A 25 percent match is required.
“With all the emerging technology, exploring new marketing approaches can seem out of reach. This is a great opportunity to explore those new methods and determine results without as much risk from day-to-day operating budgets,” said Karin Petrin, microenterprise specialist at NVM’s Presque Isle office. “This grant can cover a significant portion of some marketing projects.”
In November 2016, Christopher Braley of KTC’s Brain Freeze in Madawaska and John O’Meara of O’Meara Family Farms in New Sweden were awarded grants.
