Mapleton Girl Troop 187 recently visited with residents of Leisure Village. They brought them handmade cards and sang for them.
One resident was a Girl Scout 80 years ago. She told them she still remembered the Girl Scout Law and Promise, and joined right in reciting them with the Scouts.
The girls enjoyed hearing stories of the residents’ younger days, and the residents also enjoyed the girls’ visit as they brought their youthful fun and excitement to the village.
Among the Scouts who attended were Madison McCartney, Mackenzie Vigue, Shelby Robinson, Mikayla Michaud, Lilly Dean, Neve Guerrette, Bobbi Guerrette and Hattie Himes.
