GLENICE BERYL (MCNAUGHTON) NICHOLS CRAIG EASTON – Glenice Beryl (McNaughton) Nichols Craig, 96, passed away on April 16, 2017 at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. She was born on May 18, 1920 in Easton, the daughter of George and Marada (Hayes) McNaughton.
Glenice was an active citizen of her community where she served at the Easton Methodist Church and on the Easton Manor Committee for housing for many years. She was an active member of the Easton Happy Days Club and loved being with great friends in Easton and surrounding areas. She made friends wherever she was. She also loved her family very much and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Mitchell of Old Orchard, two sons; Larry Nichols and his wife Melanie of Falmouth, Kevin Nichols and his wife Nancy of Presque Isle, her sister, Avis Hume of Easton, seven grandchildren; Randy, Ashley, Paige, Mackenzie, John, Dede and Rodney, several great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Glenice was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Lawrence Nichols, her son, Wayne Nichols and five siblings; Clarence, John, Ruby, Rena and Faye.
A graveside service will be held 1 pm, May 19, 2017 at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton with Pastor Sue Brown, officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to the Easton Happy Days Club. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
