WILLIAM ‘BILLY’ S. FORD JR. MARS HILL -William ‘Billy’ S. Ford, Jr., 88, passed away on April 10, 2017, at Cary Medical Center in Caribou.
He was born on April 29, 1928, in Mars Hill, the son of William S. and Anna Beatrice (Currie) Ford, Sr.
He was a veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army and a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church in Mars Hill.
William is survived by his daughter, Peggy Flint of Del Rio, TX, grandchildren; Eric Flint and his wife Alex of San Marcos, TX, and Robin Flint of Del Rio, TX, a special nephew, Ralph Ford and his wife Avis of Mars Hill, who tended to his needs over the past few years, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Barbara and his 6 siblings; Mary, Glenna, Wilma, Ralph, Vernon and Horace.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Kings Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
