HODGDON, Maine — While sports thoughts are focused on the spring seasons of baseball, softball, tennis and track, one last basketball game will take center stage this week.
The Hodgdon National Honors Society and JMG program is hosting a fundraising basketball game Friday, April 28, at 6 p.m. at the Hodgdon Middle-High School gymnasium.
The exhibition game features a team comprised of Hodgdon seniors competing against Hodgdon staff, parents and a special guest, Jason “White Shadow” Gibbons. Gibbons is an athlete/basketball entertainer, school assembly speaker and youth ministry promoter who is also affiliated with the Harlem Legends comedy basketball team.
Ticket prices are $2 for students and seniors and $4 for adults. A family package for larger families is available for $12. For more information, call the high school at 532-2413.
