PRESQUE ISLE – Rita Eva Dillon, 94, passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday evening, April 23, 2017, at Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Dominque and Anna (Labelle) Demosi.
She worked as a cook at Hedrich Vending Co. for many years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, and loved to knit, crochet and cook.
She is survived by a son, Richard P. Dillon and his wife, Linda of Presque Isle; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Dillon of Vermont; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Dillon; a son, William Bernard Dillon; two brothers, Bernard and Ronald Demosi; and a sister, Mildred.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11AM Friday, April 28, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood. Friends may call at the church 10AM Friday until time of the Mass. Interment will be a later date at North Main Street Catholic Cemetery.
