WORCESTER, MA – Joanne Lovely Beard died April, 13, 2017. She graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1947 and from Gorham State Teachers College with a B.S.Ed. in 1952.
She taught school for 22 years at West Brookfield Elementary School, in West Brookfield, MA.
Joanne leaves four daughters and four granddaughters; Berenice (Bebe) Beard Osterman and husband Dan Osterman of Boston, MA; Elizabeth Beard Blake and husband Jonathan Blake of West Brookfield, MA; Helen Beard Malone and her daughter Darcy Malone of Worcester, MA; and Kathryn Beard Ferrazzi (formerly Varjian) and husband Michael Ferrazzi of Yarmouth Port, MA and Framingham, MA, and Kathryn’s daughters; Shalona Varjian Connolly and husband Joe Connolly of Amherst, MA, Jacquelyn Varjian Shea and husband Matthew Shea of Bourne, MA, and Vanessa Varjian of Ovid, NY. Joanne also leaves her brother, Mark Lovely and wife Susan Lovely of Cumming, GA, her niece, Sandra Lovely Green and husband Gary Green of Cumberland, ME, and nephew, Dana Lovely also of Cumberland, ME, as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews. Joanne was predeceased by her brother, Dana Lovely, and nieces Joanne Lovely Mahaney and Susan Lovely.
