LARRY E. LAING, HOULTON – Larry E. Laing, 66, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2017, in Bangor after a very brief illness. He was born in Houlton on March 17, 1951 to Eugene and Gila (LeFay) Laing. He was a lifelong resident of Houlton. He worked most of his life in construction and excavation, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends. He was a devoted attendee at local AA meetings.
He was predeceased by his parents. He is missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters, Nancy (Tom) Duff, Susan (Brent) Cullen and his cousin, who was like a brother to him, Allen (Cheryl) LeFay; he is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Ryan Duff and son Brady, Annette (Aaron) Cyr and daughter Carlie, Jason (Brandi) Cullen and children Korbin and MacKenzie, Jordan (Katherine) Cullen and daughter Alianna and Caleb Cullen: he is also survived by his special friend and companion, Diane Richard and his canine companion, Argo; also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
