MARVIN A SUITTER, EXETER, NH – Marvin A. Suitter, 77 of Exeter, NH and Houlton, ME passed away April 19, 2017 at his home with his best friend and loving companion Marjorie Merrill. He left us suddenly and way too soon.
His working career started very early in life landscaping. His hard working ethics led him to become a gifted landscaper. He often was recognized by the community he lived in, whether it be Maine, New Hampshire or Florida, for his beautifully landscaped yards. It truly was a gift. Quite often he would grab his tools and trim a shrub or prune a tree for family or friends. We certainly benefited from his skills and knowledge. He also spent many years in the trucking industry, establishing a long list of friends along the way.
Marvin was loved and well respected by anyone who had the privilege to meet him. He could approach a total stranger and walk away their friend. He enjoyed every moment he could spend with family and friends.
Marvin will be sadly missed by his beloved companion Marjorie Merrill, his son Scott Suitter and grandson Joshia Suitter. His siblings Ronald, Sonny, Glenn, Jeanette, Darrell, Connie, Ervin, Norma and Larry.
He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine (Saucier) Suitter, youngest son Shawn and a special nephew Jim Suitter; parents Hazel (Ellis) and Bert Suitter, his brothers Kenny, Eddie, Bobby and Raymond; his sisters Maxine, Donna, Althea and Joan.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11 AM at the Wesleyan Church on 18 Kelleran St., Houlton, Maine. The family extends an invitation to join them following the service for a time of refreshment at the Meduxnekeag Rambler Club House, Willey Road in Littleton.
