DOLORES A. (BELYEA) FARRELL HOULTON – Dolores A. (Belyea) Farrell, 75, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 5, 2017, while surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital. She was born January 7, 1942, in Littleton, the daughter of Perley A. and Mildred (Newton) Belyea.
Dolores grew up in Littleton and Houlton and attended local schools. She worked as a waitress for many years at the Elm Tree Diner, and attended the Houlton Full Gospel Assembly. Dolores is survived by three children; Elizabeth “Tootie” Bell and her husband Drake of Hudson, Eugene “Chuck” DeLong Jr. and his wife Norma of Alabama, Holly Gleaton and her husband Marcus of Virginia, eight grandchildren; Kristen, Kelley, Jonathan, Isaac, Lee, Jordan, Dylan, and Lynziann, thirteen great-grandchildren, a brother Malcolm Davis and his wife Norma of Houlton, a sister Margie Burnette and her husband Cecil of Massachusetts, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Laurel Farrell, a grandson Jared, a brother Perley Belyea Jr., and three sisters; Barbara Tolla, Eleanor Burns, and Betty Lindsay.
Friends may call 12 noon, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton, where a service will conducted at 1 p.m. with her nephew the Rev. Mark Burnette officiating. A private interment will be held at the Littleton Cemetery following the service. The family invites relatives and friends to a time of refreshment at the Houlton Full Gospel Assembly following the committal.
