The No. 0233 chapter of TOPS met April 28 at the Aldergate Building on Kelleran Street, with nine TOPS and four KOPS members present.
Pam Richardson was the loser of the week and Diane Folsom was the runner-up. Mildred Gagnon gave the secretary’s report. Jean Merritt won the skinny dish and Betty Wyman won the 50/50.
Cheryl Driscoll started a new contest. What a great way to celebrate spring: coloring butterflies to start our summer weight loss and to help keep us on track.
Barbara Grant gave the program on the “Benefits of Bananas.” So many good health benefits come from bananas. We learned bananas can help with blood pressure, PMS and heartburn, to just name a few. So eat a banana a day.Thank you, Barbara, great job.
We always welcome new members, so come join us. The first meeting is free. Come check us out. We meet every Friday, weigh-in is 7:45 to 8:45 and the meeting is at 9. For more info, please call Pam Richardson 538-8760.
