CARIBOU, Maine — Fourteen schools from northern Maine converged on the Caribou High School track Saturday and in the end, the host Vikings swept the girls’ and boys’ competitions.
The Caribou girls posted 233.5 points, which was well ahead of Presque Isle (112.5), George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill (103.5) and seven other squads.
The Viking boys accumulated 163 points to best GSA (121) and 12 other schools.

Tori Koch of Presque Isle was the top scorer in the meet with 40 points. She came in first in four events — the 100-meter dash, the 400-meter dash, the long jump and the triple jump.
The top boys’ scorer was Fort Fairfield’s Jonah Daigle, who won three individual events and was part of a victorious relay team, totaling 32.5 points on the day.
