GLENN E. MCDONALD, ZEPHYRHILLS, FL – Glenn E. McDonald, 86, passed away March 20, 2017.
He was very proud and had fond memories of his early Army enlisted service. He retired after a successful career with New England Telephone and Telegraph (now Verizon). Glenn spent many years hunting and fishing the great northern Maine woods and lakes before moving to Florida, where he enjoyed year-round golfing opportunities.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ona; children, Gregory (Judy) McDonald, Laurie (Edward) Carroll, Mary (John) Michel, Angela (Ray) Faustini, Glenn (Sharon) McDonald, and Randy (Liz) McDonald; and stepdaughter, Brenda (Keith) Hersey. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved their Grandpa Glenn. He was predeceased by his parents, Verne and Kate; stepmother, Fern; brothers, Paul, Billy and Bobby; and stepdaughter, Heidi.
Glenn will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. The family thanks the caregivers at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care for their compassionate care and support.
