LITTLETON, Maine — A 40-year-old Littleton man was arrested Thursday evening after deputies with the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call.
A dispatcher called the residence back when the 8 p.m. call came in and learned that the a man at that location had threatened people with a firearm, according to Aroostook County Sheriff Darrell Crandall.
Crandall did not reveal the location, but said that deputies sent there determined that John Morrow, 40, of Littleton had brandished a handgun and threatened three people with a gun.
“Deputies recovered the firearm and Morrow was arrested for domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and reckless conduct with a firearm,” Crandall said.
Both offenses are felony charges. Morrow was taken to the Aroostook County Jail, but was released after posting bail following an initial court appearance in Houlton Friday. Crandall said the victims would not be identified.
