The Houlton Community golf is open and in full swing. The course is in beautiful shape and drying out very well. Reseeding project on fifth fairway has begun and we appreciate all golfers respecting this zone.
The Ladies Association dinner on Tuesday was well attended and they will begin playing on the 30th with a scramble. The Men’s League begins on June 5. There are still a few team slots available, so call and put your name on the bracket. You need to do this by June 2.
The Memorial tournament to honor golfers that have passed will be held on June 2 at 10 a.m. Call the pro shop to put your name or team on the list. Proceeds from this event will go for flowers and other projects to enhance your golfing experience.
And don’t forget to call Nancy at 694-9494 to make your dinner reservations for the Lakeside Restaurant. As school lets out and more visitors enter the area, the restaurant will fill up again. Happy golfing!
