Linda Trickey of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Houlton will speak at the Walter T. A. Hansen Memorial Library on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m. about raising backyard poultry.
Bottle Drive
The CAHS Spanish Club is raising funds for a trip to Ecuador. They will hold a bottle drive on Saturday, June 17. There will be three teams heading out around 10 that morning to collect bottles in Mars Hill, Blaine and Bridgewater. Upcoming events for the week of May 31-June 6 include: Wednesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Fun with Jess & Devin at 9:30 a.m. and Lunch at the Pub at 11:00 a.m. Thursday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and BYF Potluck Dinner at 11:00 a.m. Friday will feature Game Time at 9:30 a.m. and Dayroom Cinema at 1:30 p.m. Saturday will be a free day with games, puzzles and movies in the day room. Sunday will have televised church available in the day room and the Full Gospel Assembly at 3:00 p.m. Monday will feature Nails by Shallie and Melissa at 9:30 a.m., Catholic Mass at 1:30 p.m. and Devotions with Velma at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday will feature the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m.
