PERRY, Ohio – Herbert ‘Duke’ K. Lloy, of Perry, OH, died on May 31, 2017 at Lake Health Madison ER. He was born on October 10, 1947, in Houlton, ME, to the late Gordon and Madeline Lloy.
Duke was a proud U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0047 of Houlton, ME, the Lake County Rod and Gun Club and the Perry United Methodist Church. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed music.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda (nee: Burkholder) of Perry; son, Peter (Wendy) Lloy of Houlton, ME; grandchildren, Peter, Madelyn, Elizabeth, Noah, and Zachary; nieces, Donna Ford, Debbie Adams, and Lynn Skehan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Lloy and step-brother, Harold Adams.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 noon at Perry United Methodist Church, 3875 Main St., Perry, Ohio 44081. Burial will follow at Perry Cemetery with military honors.
