CARIBOU, Maine — Richard I. Worster, 76, passed away May 30, 2017, at Van Buren. He was born in Kingman, May 8, 1941, the son of the late Ivan and Pauline Worster.

Richard married Donna Cochran on April 2, 1965. He owned and operated Anderson’s Salvage in Caribou for over 35 years. Surviving in addition to his wife of Caribou, are his son, Rick Worster of North Carolina, and his daughter, Robin Worster of Presque Isle, two brothers, and seven sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Caribou Assembly of God, Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 2 to 3 p.m. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., with Rev. Don Owen, officiating. Interment was in the Woodland Cemetery. Following the services all were invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the church hall. The family would like to thank the staff at Borderview for the fine care and compassion shown to Richard and the family these past 5 years.
