PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Coach Alan Gordon’s University of Maine at Presque Isle men’s soccer team will play 16 games during the upcoming season, according to the schedule that was released on Tuesday, June 6.
After opening the season with three road contests, one in New Brunswick and the other two in Vermont, the Owls will play their first home match on Sept. 9 when Pine Manor College of Newton, Massachusetts, pays a visit.
Following an in-state match at Unity College, UMPI will have a three-game home stand, against Fisher College of Boston on Sept. 17, UM-Machias Sept. 22, and UM-Farmington Sept. 23.
The Owls are back on the road for two more contests before they round out their home schedule with a homecoming game against Unity College on Oct. 7. UMPI closes out the regular season with six consecutive road games, concluding the season with a matchup at County rival UM-Fort Kent on Oct. 24.
