AUGUSTA, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension offers a free online newsletter providing production and research information for Maine dairy and forage producers.
Each issue of “Cows and Crops” includes timely articles, links to useful resources and a calendar of dairy- and forage-related events.
The e-newsletter also is suitable for those professionals who serve the dairy industry, such as crop consultants and feed, seed, equipment and fertilizer dealers.
“Cows and Crops” is one of the tools UMaine Extension uses to provide farmers, workers and families in the dairy industry with information to help improve productivity and profitability.
