WASHBURN, Maine — The Salmon Brook Historical Society of Washburn has announced a fundraiser and plans for its annual Tea and Quilt Show.

Raffle tickets for a queen size quilt made by Jill Fox are now on sale. Proceeds will go toward the roof project at the Aroostook Country Agriculture Museum of Washburn.

This quilt, called Star Light, Star Bright, is made using multicolored batik fabrics.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Call any member of SBHS, Wanita at 540-1154 or Rita at 429-9359.

Members are also planning the fifth annual Tea and Quilt Show, which will be held on Aug. 6. Tickets are now available for $10.

There will be four sessions this year: 11:00 a.m. and 12:15, 1:30 and 2:45 pm. Tickets do go quickly, so call Wanita at 540-1154 or Rita at 429-9359, or any other museum volunteer, for prepaid reservations.
