MARS HILL, Maine – Linda Lee (Twombly) Picard, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born October 7, 1939, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Basil and Jennie (Bell) Twombly.
Linda worked at Maine Public Service Company for over 40 years and was involved in many activities for the Community Club in Mars Hill.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Kelley Wheeler and her husband Gary of Sidney, Maine, her stepdaughter Deborah Norvell and her husband Ken of Danville, California, her stepson William Picard and daughter-in-law Colleen Horan of St. Petersburg, Florida, grandchildren; Jon Paul Theriault, Kristina McMillen, Christian, Kevin and Clara Picard.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Eugene Picard in 2012 and their beloved dog Suzette.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill for their compassion and exceptional care of Linda.
