Troopers arrest Sherman man for terrorizing

SHERMAN, Maine — Police arrested a 36-year-old Sherman man Sunday morning after charging him with aggravated assault and terrorizing.

State police took Chad Pocock into custody Sunday morning without incident at 11:30 a.m.. Maine State Police Sgt. Chad Fuller, along with troopers Caleb Adams and Adam Bell, went to Sherman in response to a report of an alleged assault around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

“To protect the identity of the victim, they will not be named,” said Lt. Brian Harris.

The investigation continued throughout the night and into the morning before police arrested Pocock. Harris added the investigation remained ongoing and he was unable to release any further details.
