To the Editor:
U.S. Sen. Collins has an important decision to make soon in regards to the health of this state and the entire country.
Senate Republicans are trying to push TrumpCare through in secrecy and will likely submit a different bill than the one that was released recently, which described how they would increase costs for those of us who actually have to work for a living and increase tax cuts for those in this country who don’t have to work for anything.
The top 400 wealthiest in this country will get the greatest tax cuts. This is not equitable, just , or American.
This is why I urge those concerned about this to contact Sen. Collins and why I urge Sen. Collins to stand up for Mainers and not vote for any bill that increases costs, decreases coverage, or decreases Medicaid coverage.
