WIMAUMA, Florida – Carl Richard Webber left this world peacefully in his sleep on June 19, 2017 at his home in Wimauma, Florida, with his wife, Jackie (McHugh), and dogs, Abby and Bella at his side. Carl was born on July 14, 1938, the third child of Joseph and Evelyn (Smith) Webber. Carl loved his blended family and was always an integral and cherished member of the family.
He is survived by Kevin Webber, daughter-in-law, Anne; Kendall Webber, daughter-in-law, Lisa; Wendy Boucher, son-in-law, Rikki; Jason Johnston, daughter-in-law Krista Delahunty, and Cory Johnston, daughter-in-law Victoria Whall. He was blessed to be known as Grampy by 15 grandchildren: Krystal, Katie, Kyle, Kelsey and Kurtis Webber; Kacey Webber, Drew Amero, Brien and Luke Boucher, Kathleen, Marie and Elise Johnston, Callum and Ella Johnston, and William Spinks. He recently became a great-grandfather to Connor Boucher. He also is survived by his sister, Patty Fuller. Carl leaves a large extended family from both the Webber and McHugh families who will always remember his generosity, fun nature, and gentle soul.
Carl was a well-respected potato broker for 40 years and certainly earned respect in the industry and leaves many friends. He was a lifelong member of the Washburn Masonic Lodge #183. Carl never met a stranger and touched the lives of countless friends. He leaves a legacy of love, humor, and deep love of family and Aroostook County.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, brother Keith, and infant sister Dorothy. As Carl wished, there will be no funeral or burial. Celebrations of his life will be held in Florida on July 8, 2017, and in Aroostook County at a date to be announced.
