FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — The first senior ladies golf event of the summer was held at Aroostook Valley Country Club June 28.
Only a few of the golfers completed their nine-hole round due to the rainy weather, but winners were crowned in the four divisions and are as follows:
Div. A: first gross, Kathy Roy of Fort Kent; first net, Lucy McLaughlin of Grand Falls; Div. B: first gross, Betty Smallwood, Covered Bridge; first net, Mary Hansen of Covered Bridge; Div. C: first gross, Brenda Clark, Covered Bridge; first net, Carmen Reller of Aroostook Valley; Div. D: first gross, Norma Manter of Aroostook Valley; and first net, Sheri Ward, Portage Hills.
The next meet is July 12 at Fort Kent Country Club.
