FLOSSIE MAE (DOW) WATSON LINNEUS – Flossie Mae (Dow) Watson, 76, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 30, 2017 at a Houlton hospital. She was born October 15, 1940, in Houlton, the daughter of Burton and Elsie (Neal) Dow.
Flossie grew up in Danforth and graduated from Danforth High School. Flossie loved life. She enjoyed visiting friends, going for coffee with her sister Ronnie, and best friends, which was always on her to do list. She cherished her family and enjoyed planning family get-togethers. Her greatest past time was talking on the telephone. She was also a member of the Red hat Society.
Flossie is survived by five children, Robin (Dow) King, Evelyn (MacDonald) Smiles, Dwight MacDonald and his wife Tracy, Scott MacDonald and his wife Beth, Glenn MacDonald and his wife Mary, twelve grandchildren, Jocelyn, Amber, Sarah, Brook, Jon, Faith, Justin, Colby, Krystal, Toni, Alyssa, Tyler, four great-grandchildren, and a sister Veronica “Ronnie” Kinney. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Lawrence MacDonald, as well as her second husband George Watson, sisters, Lillian Oldham, Wynette Wormsley, a brother Earl Gardner, and a son-in-law Peter “PJ” Smiles Jr.
