FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Young swimmers gathered at the Fort Fairfield Municipal Swimming Pool for the annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival swim meet with winners determined in five age divisions for both girls and boys.
The top finishers in each division, along with the point totals, were:
Girls, 8 years old and under: first, Matalia Tores of Georgia, 33; second, Samantha Shaw of Presque Isle, 27; and third, Aunica Tomlinson of North Carolina, 18.
Boys, 8 and under: first, Ben Chartier of Fort Fairfield, 28; second, Logan Wing of Mapleton, 17; and third, Jacob Bennett of Mapleton, 12.
Girls, 9-10: first, Hannah Chartier of Fort Fairfield, 35; second, Elisabeth Winslow of Fort Fairfield, 21; third, Brittany Bragg of Fort Fairfield, 18.
Boys, 9-10: first, Anthony Betencourt of Fort Fairfield, 32; second, Aydin St.Pierre of Fort Fairfield, 24; and third, Graedon King-Rosado of Fort Fairfield, 23.
