On July 12, the weight group called Happy Losers held its weekly meeting at the United Baptist Church vestry in Island Falls. Jackie Pratt, the leader, opened the meeting followed by the pledge and roll call.
Nine members weighed-in and eight attended the meeting. Jan Greely was the loser of the week and Loretta Bouchard was runner-up. Great job ladies. The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week.
Pratt led the program for the week. Her topic was called “how to Snack Less.” It was informative and interesting. We adjourned our meeting on time.
The following week on July 19, Pratt opened the meeting welcoming the members followed by the pledge and roll call. Eight members weighed-in and seven attended the meeting. With summer vacations and doctor appointments, some members have been absent. We hope they will be back soon.
