PERHAM, Maine — More than 20 families have signed up for the second annual community-wide yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 12, in Perham.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and organizer Debra Viola said yard sale signs will be placed at the end of each road where residents will sell various items. Additionally, several families will set up at the Perham Town Hall on High Meadow Road.
The community-wide event is designed to provide an incentive for area residents and tourists to visit the small community west of Caribou and to allow residents to sell useful and collectible items.
Viola noted there is still time for town residents to sign up. and added that people from Washburn and Wade may also bring their goods to the Town Hall if they are interested in being part of the event.
